On August 20, Wang Yubo, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor of the province, emphasized during a field inspection in Kunming that it is essential to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech at the Central Urban Work Conference and his important remarks during his inspection tour of Yunnan, to carry out the requirements of the Provincial Party Committee, unswervingly prioritize industrial development and focus on advancing industry, and thereby provide strong support for the high-quality development of cities.
Governor Wang Yubo expressed keen concern about the development needs and aspirations of enterprises, promptly reviewed and addressed relevant matters on the spot, and encouraged entrepreneurs to take root in and deepen their operations in Yunnan, engage in business-to-business investment promotion, and work to extend, supplement, and strengthen industrial chains. He directed the relevant provincial departments and the city of Kunming to proactively coordinate and provide pragmatic services to help enterprises expand into new markets, effectively revitalize their assets, maintain a high level of investment intensity, enhance the efficiency of input–output ratios, and strive to become pioneers in the development of the Yanglin Economic and Technological Development Zone.
